Ram Night at Matter by Chi*

以前のBlogでも紹介したRam Record at Matter O2
次の日仕事だったのにも関わらずやっぱり見逃せない！って
思って行って来ました、初のMatter!!

ANDY C のレーベルRAM RECORDS、超豪華メンバーでの
この日は3000人ものドラムンベースファンが集まり、
かなり盛り上がる夜になりました。

中に入るまでも長蛇の列で、お目当てのDJが
終わってしまうんじゃないか？って心配だったんだけど、
無事に入れて、そしたらちょうどDJ Marky（大ファンなんです）
だったのでドリンク買って急いでフロアーへ！！

下の写真は上から見た様子なんだけど、もうすごい人！人！で
踊りたいのに踊れない！！！人がガンガンぶつかってくるし、
クレイジーダンスしてるし・・Markyにあわせて気持ちよく踊りたいのに～！



















あきらめて1st Floorに移動して上から眺めながら踊る事に。
移動して大正解！それでも人がいるけど、何とか自分達の場所を確保。
めちゃくちゃ広いVenueで、レーザーとかもすごいかっこよくて、
とりあえずすごいよかったですよ。





















Room 2 ではDJ Akiも盛り上げてました！
東京に住んでる時に何回かWombで見たことあって好きだったし、
Londonで見たことはなかったので今日の楽しみの一つでした。
こちらでも楽しませてもらいました。またLondonでやってほしいよ～



















DJ Akiが終わって、メインフロアーに移動。
3時半位だったかな？音楽もさらにあがってきて、超大盛り上がり。
疲れてるのに踊らないわけにはいかない状態。
でもメインフロアーはありえない人なので、今度は2nd Floorへ移動。

Floorというか、網の通路？ここから下を眺めながら踊るんです。

本当にかっこいいVenue、かっこいいDJ&MCで最高な夜でした。

I went to Ram night at Matter last friday even though I had to work the next day as I thought I shouldn't miss this big drum and bass event. Andy C is an English DJ and producer, and co-founder of record label Ram Records. On the night over 3000 drum and bass fans came to Matter and I was sure everybody had a fantastic time.

We had queue up to get in for quite long time or I felt it was long time as I really wanted to see my favourite DJs and MCs as soon as possible and need to pee. Anyway, when we through security checks and got into the venue, DJ Marky had already started to play so we bought some drinks quickly and went to the main floor. As soon as we had reached the floor we noticed that it was impossible to dance as it was crazily crowded.

We moved to the 1st floor which was much much better; we could view the whole ground floor and there was space to dance. Matter is such a big venue and a really cool design! There is one more space to dance which is the 2nd floor like a corridor as you can see from the last 2 pictures.

In Room 2, DJ Aki from Tokyo, who was one of my favourite DJs, was winding up the room. I saw him play in Tokyo many times but this was the first time to see him in London. He was quite good and we really enjoyed dancing. I was so happy everybody enjoyed his set as he is the same nationality as me: his playing is world class! I want him to play in London again soon. We really had a great time and would like to say thanks to Ram Records!
