World Cup 2010始まってますね！
昨日は、England vs USA

試合中は、どこのパブもいっぱいですごい盛り上がりでした。
World Cup開催中は、デパート、洋服やさんは売り上げも
落ちるくらい影響があるようです。

私は、早番で仕事仲間とお買い物＆ディナーに行ったんだけど、
レストランでもTVで観戦できるようになってました。
レストランの外からTVを見てる人も多かったです。

街中には、フェイスペイントをしてる人や、歌を歌ってる人、
叫んでる人・・で大盛り上がり！

試合内容は、ちょっと残念でしたけどね・・涙
もっとEnglandのいいプレイが見たかったです！！

The World Cup 2010 has started! Yesterday, England vs USA!! During the match all the pubs were very busy in the centre. Apparently, some department stores and clothes shops lost money as they couldn't get customers due to the World Cup. I was on the early shift and went shopping and had dinner with some of my colleagues. Even though I was in a restaurant I could watch the match as there was a TV there which was good. Some people were standing outside the restaurant and were watching it. Everybody was interested! I saw many people who had their faces painted, singing songs or shouting, etc. Anyway, everybody was so excited.
